Turning non-believers into thriving beings since 2015

Canvas Kombucha Brewing Company.    It all started with a beautiful S.C.O.B.Y. and two creative entrepreneurs.    Our brewer had been fermenting this tart probiotic beverage for years with some successes and a few, slightly explosive errors, too.  He also had nearly a decade of fine cuisine and flavor pairing knowledge just taking up space in his mind.  The pair realized that combining his knowledge and her (we can do anything) attitude,  they could build a business from the ground up

Their kitchen became a kombucha laboratory, with the pungent aroma of vinegar and tea quickly becoming acceptable... comforting.  Fermenters crowded the kitchen.  Bottles were ordered and the startup process quickly began.  Home brew kombucha was flavored and shared with friends, family and neighbors, and the response was encouraging.  "I don't usually drink that stuff, but this is so good!" became the comment of the year.

Friends and family became the biggest assets to the company from business advice, financial help, donating time and resources, personal loans, sharing opinions....so much kindness and support!  Thanks to all this and more, CKBC has blossomed into a healthy and profitable business that will soon look to welcome like-minded members onto its team!

We open our doors for in house fills just a few hours each week, so stop in, grab a glass and let us change your minds about the booch! Check out our Stockists for other places you can find CKBC on tap, and cheers to a healthy belly and a happy palate!

Reviews

"Delicious and artistic flavor combinations in a lovely atmosphere. I like to sip on a drink while admiring the work of local artists, but if you're short on time, grab a cup or growler to go. I promise you will not be disapointed!"-N. Broesel '17

"It is so wonderful to have a zero waste option for kombucha.I love tasting all the funky flavors. I especially love how surprised I was that the plain kombucha was just as tasty as the lemon-ginger-cayenne and the star anise-orange. Their plain kombucha stands on its own. Just a tad sweet, perfect carbonation content and great high-end tea flavor."-A. Menssen '17

"I had the Burning Mango; best kombucha I've had. Keep it up!" - P. Prins 2015

"The yummiest kombucha I've ever had and the best part is that it's local to Whitefish, MT!"-B. Lee '15

"Love this kombucha. Delicious, fresh, interesting flavors. Lovely space." -K. Sabin '17

Happy with arms full of kombucha!

“How can we know who we are and where we are going if we don’t know anything about where we have come from and what we have been through, the courage shown, the costs paid, to be where we are?”
— David McCullough
